Main Lake
The Lake Is the Physical Heart of the Community
Main Lake is an approximately 232-acre human-created recreational lake used by eligible Lake of the Pines members and authorized guests for boating, fishing, swimming, sailing, paddling and other activities subject to current Association and California rules.
First filled in 1967, Main Lake is reported at approximately 1,507 feet in elevation, approximately 4,200 acre-feet in capacity and approximately 55 feet at its deepest point. Current Association information describes approximately 260 private homes around the lake.
The relationship between homes, shoreline, docks, parks, marina areas, coves and open water helps make the lake both a recreational resource and the defining visual feature of Lake of the Pines.

Marina & Launching
Boat Access Requires Property-Specific and User-Specific Review
Certain waterfront properties have private docks, while eligible community users may have access to Association boating facilities. Current materials identify a community boat ramp at Park 4 for eligible members without a private boat slip.
Boat type, dimensions, motor, registration, insurance, inspection, decals, equipment, storage and launch procedures may be regulated. Association storage availability is not guaranteed and may involve waiting lists, fees and size limitations.

A Private Golf Experience Woven Through the Community
Current Lake of the Pines Association information describes a private 20-hole golf course of approximately 6,140 yards, with a driving range, rolling foothill terrain, bunkers, ponds, creeks and wildlife.
The course is not separated from the residential experience. Fairways, greens, practice areas, mature trees, water features and homes form a connected golf-community setting.
Golf access, tee times, guest privileges, leagues, tournaments, fees, dress expectations and course schedules are governed by current Association procedures.

Junior Olympic-Sized Swimming Pool
The seasonal community pool overlooks Main Beach and the lake. Programs have included swimming lessons, water fitness and open swimming.
Opening dates, daily hours, programs, supervision requirements and closures can change because of season, staffing, maintenance, weather and safety conditions.

Lake of the Pines is a private gated community. Its lake, golf course, parks, beaches, pool, courts, dining and other facilities are not unrestricted public amenities.
Ownership generally includes Association membership and related rights and responsibilities. Tenant, household-member, guest and visitor privileges may differ according to current governing documents, registration, access credentials, fees and account status.
Visitor access generally requires authorization or sponsorship through a resident, the Association, an approved event or an authorized real estate professional. Current procedures should be confirmed before visiting.
